BankFive is the proud winner of the New England Financial Marketing Association gold award in the category of Civic Involvement!!!
BankFive was excited to enter its “Wheels in Motion” campaign into this category and even more excited when it won for the gold winner amongst other community banks, $500M-$1.5B. This campaign, to raise funds to purchase a van, was a great way to give back to local veterans while greatly involving the community as well. We had donation boxes at every branch location, created flyers and advertised this campaign in local media. From this effort, we then began to see the community getting involved and beginning to donate as much as they could to help the local veterans. We were able to raise $13,000 from the community and we then matched that amount totaling $26,000, enough to purchase a van for the veterans. The van would assist them with getting to doctor appointments, running errands and any other activity they would need to travel to.
Also, BankFive is the silver winner in the category of Public Relations for the “Wheels in Motion” campaign as well.
