This weekend, October 1st-2nd, the BankFive-Heritage State Park Harvest Festival will take place at the waterfront Heritage State Park starting at 10am.
The event begins on Saturday, October 1st with a children’s Halloween costume parade where children can compete for prizes for most original, funniest, freakiest, and prettiest costumes.
The BankFive Children’s Activities Tent will include the Home Depot Kid’s Workshop, in which kids will find free kits to build a variety of objects. More than 2,000 pumpkins will be available for kids to decorate for free in addition to a variety of other activities including arts and crafts, face painting, pony rides and cookie decorating.
Both days will be filled with fun activities, musical acts and food for sale from a variety of vendors. Admission is free for both days.
