The FLY (Financial Lift for Young Adults with Cancer) Foundation in partnership with BankFive is pleased to announce an upcoming 5k Race & Walk on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 10AM.
The FLY Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, providing support to young adults in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, aged 19-39, who have been diagnosed with cancer. The organization was founded by Bristol, RI residents Julia & Peter Saulino, following Julia’s lymphoma diagnosis at age twenty-nine. To date, The FLY Foundation has provided financial support to five local young adults undergoing cancer treatment.
The 5k will begin at BankFive, 79 North Main Street, Fall River, MA and finish at The Tap House Grill 159 South Main Street, Fall River, MA, and will be held rain or shine.
Registration Details: A $25 non-refundable entry fee prior to October 16, 2011, $28 thereafter.
